Ms. Whalen is a member of NALS (National Association of Legal Staffing) and also has earned her California Accredited Counselor Certificate and is an active member of the California Association of Personnel Consultants. Ms. Whalen is a also member of the Ventura County and Santa Barbara Bar Associations, Ventura County Legal Assistants group, the Santa Barbara Paralegal Association, and the Ventura County and Santa Barbara Legal Secretaries Associations, so she is a great source for attorney jobs or other lawyer and legal jobs. Ms. Whalen is a frequent speaker at the UCSB Paralegal program regarding the regional climate for jobs in the legal community, and setting and reaching goals.
